I've finished my section on squirrels. I chose Eurasian red squirrels since there characters will live at Milkweed Manor which is somewhere in England.
One of my favorite things about these squirrels is their ear tufts. But I was surprised to learn that they grow the tufts in the fall for the winter then shed them in the spring. So that's why some of the squirrels in the sketchbook have ear tufts and other don't. This page spread takes place in winter.
