Growing your own Card Deck
I have a free gift for participants of Ida Anderson Lang's Art Soul Gathering 2026 - a video about creating your own person card deck with watercolor and ink!
In this method, we'll create twelve cards, working in two phases. In the first phase, we'll initially work on all twelve cards on a single piece of paper. Then we'll cut them apart. At that point, we'll have twelve partially finished cards. From there, as the spirit moves us, we can finish them and add them to our deck of beautiful completed mini art works.
Repeat the process and grow your deck as large as you want.
Popular uses for these cards are to add text on the backs, making your deck and inspiration deck, a memorializing deck, a collection of motivational quotes, or whatever else you like. I use mine to remember the many animals that have been part of my life.
